About the Item

Wonderful design by Milan Grygar features on the 70s re-release Czech film poster for Charles Chaplin classic, The Gold Rush. Like their neighbours in Poland, the designers of the Czech Republic, free from commercial constraints and enjoying far greater artistic freedom than their Western counterparts, treated film poster design as an art form. The result is an immensely powerful, wildly original and beautiful body of work. This original vintage movie poster is sized 22 7/8 x 32 inches. It will be sent rolled (unframed). Year 1973 re-release Poster Type CZE A1 Style - Art by Milan Grygar Rolled/Folded/Other Folded/Rolled Condition Excellent.
