Original antique advertising poster for Griffon motorcycles featuring artwork by the French artist Frederic-Hugo de Alesi (1849-1906) showing a man with a moustache wearing gloves, boots and a cap, riding his motorised bike with ease up a hill, a tree and scenic view down to a seaside town with sailing boats near the harbour in the background and another cyclist walking his bicycle up the road, the hills running along the coast to the horizon and the title text in bold red lettering below. Large size. Good condition, restored paper losses, restored tears, minor staining, backed on linen.
