Original antique book advertising poster for a Parisian detective story Through the Wall by Cleveland Moffett published by D Appleton & Co featuring a great illustration of a moustached man holding a revolver gun through a hole in wall and peeping through another hole with the bold text in white letters. Set during a summer in the Belle Epoque period this crime book by the American journalist, author and playwright Cleveland Moffett (1863-1926) tells a story about murders in luxury hotels in Paris, a powerful villain and a thrilling investigation by a French detective Paul Coquenil. Good condition, creasing, crease marks.
