Original antique French poster - Emprunt National 1920 Banque Maritime 28 Rue de Laborde Paris / National Loan 1920 Maritime Bank - featuring a design by Ernest Louis Lessieux (1848-1925) depicting a steam ship sailing at sea through blue waves with an orange sky in the background, a seagull flying in the foreground by the stylised bold lettering. Printed by Dubois and Bauer. Good condition, restored paper loss in bottom left corner, restored tears, browning, roughly trimmed left edge, backed on linen.
