Original antique travel poster for the French State and Brighton Railway Paris St Lazare to London and the South Coast of England via Dieppe and Newhaven / Chemins de Fer de L'Etat et de Brighton Paris St Lazare a Londres et La Cote Sud d'Angleterre par Dieppe et Newhaven featuring a great design by Maurice Toussaint (1882-1974) depicting a marching band of the British Royal Guards wearing traditional red military uniforms and iconic bear skin hats marching and playing music on drums in a military parade in front of a crowd of people with an historic building in the background, the text in French in stylised lettering in the border above and below with the details - The most economical route Day and night service Large ferries and fastest boats on the Channel / Voie la plus economique Service de jour et du nuit Grandes pacquebots et turbines les plus rapides de la Manche.
