Original antique travel advertising poster for the Braunwaldbahn funicular railway in Switzerland - Braunwald Bahn Canton Glarus Schweiz - featuring great artwork showing a dramatic view of a mountain peak lit up by the sun with snow on the rocks and silhouettes of pine trees in the foreground, the bold text below. The historic resort village of Braunwald is located in the Glarus Alps at 1,256 meters (4,121 ft), linked to the valley village of Linthal by the Braunwald funicular in 1907; offering outdoor summer and winter sports and activities including skiing, hiking and climbing with mountain lakes and waterfalls. Printed by Richter & Co, Napoli. Good condition, folds, creasing, restored tears, paper loss in bottom right corner, backed on linen.
