Original antique travel poster for Dieppe featuring a great design by Georges Dorival (1879-1968) depicting a panoramic view of the town with its park areas and beaches on the Normandy coast from the historic Chateau de Dieppe, the glow of the dramatic red sunset sky reflected on the bricks and a crescent moon above, set in a deep green border with the stylised lettering in white reads - Dieppe A 3 heures de Paris A 5 heures de London / 3 hours to Paris 5 hours to London. Printed by Atelier Dorival Bordry Paris. Affiches Robaudy Cannes. Good condition, restored folds, repaired tears, paper losses on edges, pinholes, staining, crease marks, backed on linen.
