Original vintage jazz music advertising poster - Norman Granz presents The New Oscar Peterson Trio Sam Jones Louis Hayes - for a concert held on 22 March 1966 featuring a typographical design with the bold title lettering across the centre and the rest of the text on the side. The award winning Canadian jazz pianist Oscar Emmanuel Peterson (1925-2007) is considered one of the greatest jazz piano players; this new trio was formed in 1965 with Sam Jones on bass, Louis Hayes on drums and Oscar Peterson on piano. The American jazz record producer and concert promoter Norman Granz (1918-2001) signed many jazz greats during his career, including Oscar Peterson when he became his manager in 1949. Good condition, restored paper losses, restored tears, staining, foxing, backed on linen.
