Original vintage Russian re-release silent movie poster for the classic 1925 pioneering film by Sergei M. Eisenstein - Battleship Potemkin (Bronenosets Potyomkin) - starring Aleksandr Antonov, Vladimir Barsky and Grigori Aleksandrov. Great monochrome image depicting sailors on the decks of the ship waving to crew members standing around the mast flying a red flag with the stylised title text in red above and below. Excellent condition, minor restoration to folds and pinholes, backed on linen.
