Original US film poster for Rocky 1967. This is one of the greatest boxing film ever. The film received ten Academy Award nominations and won three, including Best Picture. It was also the highest grossing film of 1976. This film was directed by John Guilbert Avildsen and starred Sylvestor Stallone , Talia Shire, Burt Young, Carl Weathers and Burgess Meredith.
Sylvester Stallone wrote the screenplay.
Far fewer of this size poster were printed it was printed on heavier paper stock. This meant that it had to be distributed rolled. Many got folded over time. However, this piece is in its original unfolded condition. This poster near mint condition unfolded and conservation paper backed and would be shipped flat in a very strong flat pack and sent by Federal Express
