The fabulous Star Wars Style C Quad Oscars film poster with the iconic artwork by Tom Chantrell. Chantrell was tasked with enhancing the star appeal and the merchandising opportunities for Fox and George Lucas and he certainly delivered with this design.

Tom Chantrell (1916 - 2001) arguably the greatest British film poster designer, certainly one of its most prolific, reputedly finishing some 800 designs. Born the son of a circus performer in Manchester, England, he started work in advertising as an illustrator. During WWII he put his artistic skills to use designing propaganda posters for the war effort.
