Original US film posters for Star Wars 1977. International Style A, first printing 77/21-0
The film was directed by George Lucas and starred Mark Hamill, Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher.
Owing to the huge popularity of this film it ran continuously in the US for over one year. There were four different printings of this style A US one sheet. This first printing has the original NSS number of 77/21-0, while the next three have different information. There were also two printings of the first release poster - one the PG rating box and this one without it. The art work is by Tom Jung (b.1942)
This poster is unfolded and conservation linen backed and it would be shipped in a very strong tube and sent by Federal Express.
