A very nice Hollywood movie original lithograph for the film The Treasure of the Sierra Madre, directed by John Huston. Starring Humphrey Bogart, Walter Huston, Tim Holt, Bruce Bennett. This very decorative lithograph is numbered 30/300 and is signed by the artist, Lanse. Unidentified artist. The film is about two down-on-their-luck Americans searching for work in 1920s Mexico convince an old prospector to help them mine for gold in the Sierra Madre Mountains. Humphrey Bogart submerges himself in character in this Oscar-winning western adventure that rides off into the Mexican desert. A tale about a bunch of cowboys blinded by greed for gold, the film’s themes are echoed throughout cinema. Very good condition with no tears, minor fading. This is an original lithograph, great historical memorabilia, collectible. Signed in the plate and numbered. Framed measurements: 30 1/4" W x 24 1/2" H x 1" D
