About the Item
Impressive pair of circa 1890's Victorian women's dress tops. One elaborately layered black lace / mesh shirtwaist with leg of mutton / gigot sleeve. And one black bodice / jacket in cotton with floral burnt velvet accents at the cuffs, collar and placket, corded foliate detail at the cuffs, waving beaded trim and shiny black buttons. Mounted on off white fabric in contemporary carved champagne gilt shadowbox frames.
