19th century cast iron bust portrait plaque of Benjamin Franklin Cast iron bust portrait plaque of Benjamin Franklin one of the Foundling Fathers of the USA, 19th century, round plaque with bust figure facing to the right and the name “FRANKLIN” A superb and very rare piece the plaque is un painted, it has foundry mark WR on the reverse side the plaque which is 22” in diameter, 3” thick and very heavy TGB229.
