Beautifully carved hound and birds~~outstanding craftsmanship of the era
Black Forest furniture and decorative pieces were very popular in late 19th century France~~often characterized by highly carved game such as rabbits, pheasants, foxes and hunting dogs and complemented by fruit, nut, leaf, floral, rosette, nut, and ribbon accents or Gothic elements
