About the Item
Fantastic set of 4 wall panels made by Bander van Ierland, Holland 1986. Bander van Ierland was a student of Joost Baljeu which is strongly visible in these 4 wall panels especially these coloured ones. The panels were called molecular construction and are made in 1986. The panels were made of metal covered wood and metal, painted. These were purchased directly from the artist and where exhibited in Pulchri, Den Haag. We asked Bander what his work stands for: in my own words: "For over twenty years I have been making aluminium and wooden constructions that deal with time and space with additional time axes. I have been working on algorithmic constructions since 1996. Algorithms are step-by-step systems with a starting point and a solution. They are based on artificial intelligence and computer science associated with the construction of thought. I also design large architectural projects. For example the Binckhorstlaan. In general, my work is about the fifth dimension or space-time-consciousness, where consciousness is the fifth dimension. My work is thus meant for a harmonious, synthetic and spiritual world. "
The works are all in original condition, minor fading in color especially the white panels. But look great with that aged patina. All works are signed and numbered at the back, BVI 1986 1/4 etc. Preferably sold as set of 4.
