Exceptional Brutalist wall hanging plaque, by noted American sculptor Thom Tex Wheeler.
Constructed of aluminum, brass, copper, and hard stone, mounted on a black painted plywood back. This example is in very fine, original, clean, undamaged , ready to hang condition, it is signed and dated ( Thom Wheeler '78 ).
Thom Wheeler, aka Tex, is a working artist base in Northern New Mexico.
