About the Item

An English wall hanging terracotta and oak horse with bronze accents, signed J. Priestman Sculptor circa 1903 and titled The Count. Created in the early years of the 20th century, this wall hanging fixture features a black terracotta horse head on oval backplate, resting above a circular mirror with beveled edges and oak frame. The central section showcases bronze polo equipment and a horseshoe. Marked with turned finials to hang possibly hats or scarves, this oak and terracotta wall hanging horse is signed and dated J. Priestman sculptor 1903 on the head. A very stylish addition to any room, particularly placed in an entryway!
