About the Item
A beautiful and extremely decorative set of three French 19th century Louis XV st. carved Giltwood wall plaques. Each of the plaques displays charming richly carved blooming flowers amidst superb scrolled foliate designs and wonderful movements. At the center of two plaques are striking seashell reserves while one displays a large central acanthus leaf reserve with each displaying an elegant lattice designed background. All original gilt throughout.
