About the Item

A decorative and richly detailed Italian 19th century Giltwood wall decor/plaque. This stunning plaque displays a central crest with smooth and burnished cabochons at each corner with a band accented by a Fleur de Lys. The crest is flanked by finely detailed pierced Oak and Laurel leaf vines which lead to stunning large scale scrolled foliate acanthus leaves cascading to each side. All original gilt throughout. *Available with matching wall decor item# 14454, sold separately.
