Joseph Duroseau (Haitian, b 1931) tribal wood carving that depicts a lizard above two tribal masks with feather headdresses, held up by a figure surmounted over a large lower face mask with protruding tongue.
Provenance: Purchased from Christie's Auction House, 5/19/92.
Condition: Please see detail photos. Acceptable signs of age including some minor nicks and chips which do not affect the powerful presentation.
