Monumental Robert Maxwell 'Sunburst' Wall Sculpture.
This large wall sculpture is created with the original ‘Sunburst’ pattern from the early 1960s, a recurring motif that Maxwell would revisit throughout his decades-long career in ceramics. Made in Maxwell's Venice, California studio, this monumental wall sculpture is executed in fired stoneware in the now-iconic 'Sunburst' pattern. The piece is mounted on the original plywood frame. Bespoke metal mounting bracket included. Purchased from the Maxwell estate.

A very clean and incredibly rare monumental example from Robert Maxwell. His works are sought after by collectors in the know.
In good condition with some age appropriate scuffs, dings, minor chipping and wear as largely shown and noted only for accuracy. Please inquire for additional photos or video.
