About the Item
A stunning abstract painted sculpture on wood by American Artist Byron Lacy. Lacy is a Texas artist that has exhibited his art all across the United States in museums and art galleries. This hand painted piece is made up of multiple panels painted with black outlines and bright colorful squares and a prominent circular panel at the top connected with a painted wood piece. This piece brings to mind a combination of abstract expressionism, synthetic cubism, as well as pop art. Lacy was a member of the Madi art geometric art movement that has roots in Texas and South America. This movement has roots in cubism and other movements. Made in the United States in the mid to late 20th Century. D ring hanging equipment included. This painting is unique in comparison to his normal works on metal.
