About the Item

A pair of mid century modern bronze figurative wall hanging sculptures, 20th century. These two works depict one figure climbing a ladder and the other a stair, arms extended out toward one another, reminiscent of perhaps acrobats or romantic lovers. Hand-forged of bronze, they exhibit extraordinary patination in a deep sumptuous turquoise. Mounted on a wall as an artwork, or perhaps even worked to create a very unique and valuable set of door handles, this pair is quite versatile.
