A charming pair of ceramic wall planters designed by renowned Swedish designer Wilhelm Kåge (1889–1960), celebrated for his contributions to Swedish Grace and modern Scandinavian design. These planters feature delicate hand-painted blue floral motifs on a scalloped white ceramic body.
The planters are crafted in a semicircular form, designed to rest against a wall. They have pre-made mounting holes at the back for secure hanging. The underside includes a central decorative floral finial. The hand-applied cobalt blue detailing contrasts beautifully with the creamy white glaze, highlighting the artisanal craftsmanship. The planters feature a subtly textured surface adorned with delicate floral grooves, enhancing the hand-painted blue motifs with a tactile and dimensional quality.
Marked on the back with Kåge's signature and Gustavsberg stamps, these pieces are a testament to the designer’s legacy and the exceptional quality of Swedish ceramics from the mid-20th century. Perfect for displaying small plants, flowers, or as standalone decorative objects.
