Rare abstract ceramic wall sculpture with mushrooms, handmade wall decoration by Belgian artist Elisabeth Vandeweghe for Perignem, 1960s design object, made of colorful glazed and matte earthenware, this version with mushrooms was originally much larger but has been broken in 2 places making it much shorter, this is still a beautiful object, not marked like most Perignem pieces.
Sought after object by collectors of Perignem or abstract art, Perignem and especially objects by Vandeweghe are very hard to find and have a high collector's value.
In reasonable vintage condition, this was originally part of a larger and higher object, broken off in 2 equal places, but the remaining part remains a very decorative item, check the photos for more details!
