REMO PINTUS Belgium 1960s Illuminated Fiberglass Art Wall Sculpture. Remo Pintus (1938-2002) was a renown Belgian artist and figurative sculptor specialising in high quality resin art and installations.
Depicting a surrealistic figure with wild flaming hair in solid fibreglass resin cast.
The ghoul-like effect of the sculpture is further accentuated when lit.
Mounted on a deep solid oak shadow box wooden frame.
The sculpture would make for a highly decorative piece in most contemporary settings.
It is signed and dated PINTUS 1966
Fitted with a UK plug and uses 1 E27 light bulb Max 45W.
In very good vintage condition.
There are some surface scratches and dents to the oak frame but nothing major. Efforts have been made to capture these on camera.
