About the Item
Tri-dimensional Wall Sculpture called Trapez or Trapezoid. Made in 1986 by the Danish/German ceramist Richard Manz (1933-1999) overseen and most likely in collaboration with his wife Bodil Manz. It a unique work and only 3 types of diffrent Trapez Relief's are known to exist. This one and two exhibited in Court House of Slagelse near Copenhagen in Denmark (Ref./archive: 'Art Fund of Denmark ' (web site: 'Statens Kunstfund'). This Trapez wall sculpture is a very heavy piece made from textured and toned porcelain panels and mounted in a steel frame with a wooden backside. Signed by Richard Manz and dated 1986. It installed with steel hooks that enables you to display it securely on your wall. Measurements: 58x58 cm with a dept of 9 cm.
