Shaped as a large single Fern leaf. Precise mold work, with a strong green glaze that pools into the deeper areas of the mold.
Footed with a curved rim.
Measures: 12.5 in. L x 9 in. W x 1.75 in. H
Impressed: Sarreguemines, with the mold number 1177, and the number 227, signifying a majolica glaze.

Glazed in a deep, luscious green, showing an overlapping leaf pattern with twig form handles. Serrate edging, in perfect condition. One of a few shapes produced in this pattern, this is the rectangular example.
Beautiful mold work with nicely pooled glazing with a light iridescence.
