About the Item

A set of 3 early 20th century antique medieval style decorative shields originating from France. Made from tin, this splendid trio would make for highly decorative wall decor in a home, or perhaps a historic castle! Dating back to 1900, their simple yet impressive design is an ode to French history, and the battles that were once fought years ago. Each shield is of an interesting shape and has Roman style influences, with one hand-painted with a heraldic lion crest. Individual dimensions: Heights: 95.5 cm, 98 cm and 99.5 cm Width approx. 56 cm Depth approx. 1 cm We are also selling other shield sets of a similar style and model.
