About the Item
Two handsomely carved antique oak panels depicting mythical creatures and gentlemen in period costume.
Though these panels date from the early 20th century, they are evocative of earlier Tudor and Jacobean period designs and are very alike to romayne type panels.
Handcrafted, each panel is carved with a central roundel of a gentleman wearing a helmet with mythical creatures surrounding. They will make a beautiful feature on an interior wall of a period property.
