Very large and impressive wall sculpture by Mike Scott Chai and dates from the early 1980s. This very large sculpture has been skillfully hand turned from solid Burr Oak. Scorching to the finish is a technique often used by Mike Chai to create contrast between the natural wood and textures.
The piece is signed Mike Scott Chai to the rear.
A wonderful impressive wall sculpture, this is one of the largest turned pieces from Mike Chai that we have seen and was originally purchased from Mike Chai's personal collection.
