About the design:
Magnus Gjoen's recent wallpaper, "Storm of Stones and Shadows," created in collaboration with Mavoix, masterfully blends classical grandeur with a contemporary edge.
The design features Piranesi-esque Roman ruins juxtaposed with a multicolored yet tonal Ikat pattern, resulting in a design that is both timeless and unexpected. In keeping with Gjoen's style, a subtle hint of camouflage weaves through the composition, adding a layer of intrigue to this striking juxtaposition of history and modernity.
Gjoen expressed a desire to create something that feels both ancient and modern, where the past dissolves into the present in an almost dreamlike way.
Printed on Fine Art: drawing paper effect (matte, not embossed). It is an eco-friendly support made out of cellulose that keeps a very high qualitative perception. Retro NWB.
