A geometric serrure bracelet designed by Jean Dinh Van. Beautiful vintage bracelet, created in Paris France in the 1980 at the jewelry atelier of the iconic designer Dinh Van. This geometric avant garde bangle is from the popular collection named Serrure. It was crafted in solid yellow gold of 18 Karats (.750/.999), with high polished finish finish and fitted with a customized peg in the hole closure system. This model was created at the beginning of the 70’s, the Serrure collection stands out by its elegance. This sophisticated design synthesizes the architectural geometric style that characterizes Dinh Van. Weight: 14.96 grams (9.59 Dwt). Measurements: Fit a wrist up to 7.25 Inches (18.5 Cm). The width is 6 mm (0.24 Inches). Hallmarks: Stamped with French marks, the eagle head for the assay and guaranty of the 18k gold, the maker's mark in a cartouche Ste. DVD associated to Societe Dinh Van and signed, "DINH VAN .750". Jean Dinh Van is a French designer, that was born in 1927 from a French-Vietnamese family. His successful career started behind the workbench at the French jewelry house of Cartier in 1946 and then work for Pierre Cardin. In 1972 he started his own company and the followed years his revolutionary designs and style caught on quickly and launched him to the forefront of the jewelry and fashion world. All his designs are very geometric and modern, both, his original vintage pieces created for Cartier and the contemporary creations are highly collectible. Dinh Van pieces are very fashionable, sophisticate and easy to wear, also can be displayed as a small toys, sculptures and "Objets du Vertu".
