Style: Rounded curb with patterned, engraved links Age: Antique late 1800s (c1878) Condition: Very Good Hallmark: French Murat with date mark I think 1878 This is NOT solid gold (hence price). 9ct Rolled Gold is an antique technique where solid gold is fused onto a base metal. Assay standards state that to call an item as such there is a minimum of 10% solid gold that must be used in production. The end result is a gold bracelet that will last a lifetime if looked after but won't dent like the modern hollow ones will. It is a truly noticeable and eye-catching piece of jewellery. It is in very good condition with no noticeable signs of wear. It could easily be polished to "as new" if required, though I am not a fan of vintage things looking new.
