This stylish bracelet dates from the 1930s and was created by Jakob Bengel.

The Details...
This bracelet is constructed from chrome plated metal. The bracelet is detailed with black and green enamel in geometric patterns. The bracelet fastens with a large bolt ring and measures approximately 19cm in length. It is also reversible, as it can be worn on the plain chrome side too.
A Short History...
This piece does not bear a signature. All of Jakob Bengel jewellery was unsigned. However, his pieces possess distinctive hallmarks which make this bracelet readily identifiable as Bengel. The chromium plating used in the bracelet is typical of the company's 1930s pieces. The use of enamel in a black and green colour way also means this is certainly by Jakob Bengel.
