Regal and refined, this exquisite antique egg pendant (circa 1910) is crafted in solid 18k gold and adorned with vibrant enamel, shimmering pearls, amethysts, and a glinting rose cut diamond buckle motif. It measures approximately 1 inch from the top of the jump ring to the base and 0.65 inches wide, with a substantial weight of 8.85 grams. The gold has been XRF-tested to confirm its solid 18k purity.
The pendant is in good antique condition. Some of the amethysts are later replacements, and the stone closest to the pearls has a visible chip. The pearls appear to be glued in place, which is not uncommon for the era and setting style, and they remain secure. These factors do not detract from the piece’s beauty or wearability but are noted for accuracy.
