About the Item

Edward VII and Queen Alexandra Coronation Souvenir Silver Bracelet with Bezel Set Cabochon Shaped Botswana Gemstone Agate Ovals. Each piece of polished agate has a different color and internal markings. The bracelet has a silver medal pendant with profiles of the King and Queen on one side and the reverse with their coat of arms. The medallion says under the coat of arms "In Celebration of the Coronation 1902." Botswana was formerly the British protectorate of Bechuanaland. Botswana adopted its new name after becoming independent within the Commonwealth on the 30th of September 1966. The bracelet is unmarked and tested sterling silver. The agate's are 18x24mm.
