About the Item
Sterling silver raised inlay turquoise cuff by master silversmith Tommy Jackson. The 1” cuff has Kingman turquoise inlay. The inside measurement is 6” with a 1” gap.
The Kingman Turquoise Mine is one of the oldest producing Turquoise mines in North America. It was discovered by Native Americans over 1000 years ago. Kingman Turquoise is known for its beautiful blue color and the mine produces many variations of blue turquoise.
Tommy is known for carefully selecting his stones and uses only the highest quality of turquoise and coral he can find. He has won numerous awards for his Navajo jewelry.

Navajo large turquoise slab bracelet. The turquoise is from the Kingman Mine in Arizona. This bracelet has an exceptionally beautiful sky blue stone (over 2") with twisted rope and bead border. Nice patina! This bracelet came from Arizona (Kingman Mine), we purchased in 2010. It was made by a Navajo silversmith during the period before they marked their work (most probably around 1960-70s). It not enhanced, it is a 100% untreated natural turquoise stone. It was first mined by the Native Americans many years before Europeans came to America. Probably at least 1,000 years ago. Much later a number of individuals and companies owned and used the mine.
The Kingman Mine is located in an area called Mineral Park in Arizona. It was discovered by James Haas in the late 1800’s. In the late 1880’s to the early 1900’s, Mineral Park was mined by the Aztec Turquoise Co., the Los Angeles Gem Co., Arizona Turquoise Co., Southwest Turquoise...
