About the Item

Old fine Gilt Silver European bangle bracelet of the finest quality, with openwork shoulders and secure V-lock. Oval cut natural Amethyst stones in secure claw settings. Hallmarked with Swedish customs marks used after 1912 confirming at least 830 Silver alloy. Likely made in Germany, ca.1900s. Measures 56 mm x 52 mm inside / well fits sizes S,M. / will fit the wrist with circumference of 16 - 17 cm around the wrist bone. The bangle is 15 mm at the widest in the middle and 9 mm average wide, crown is 10 mm deep. Amethysts of deep purple color, transparent with very small inclusions,all three show great cut done by hand. Largest 17 mm x 12 mm x 10 mm deep / about 11 ct. , two 12 mm x 8 mm x 7.75 mm deep / ca. 3.5 ct each. Total weight about ca. 18 ctw. Finest used condition, all stones and claws intact and secure. Very secure lock and tight hinges. No apparent wear to the stones,very minor wear to the gilding. The patina on metal. > Most of the items that we sell are not new at all if not stated otherwise.
