Antique Victorian Sapphire and Old Cut Diamond Bracelet in Yellow Gold and Silver, circa 1890. A late 19th century jewel of floral and foliate design, featuring three mixed-cut oval and elongated cushion-shaped sapphires of a dark blue color and two Old Mine-cut diamonds, highlighted with smaller Old Mine-cut, Old European brilliant-cut and rose-cut diamonds. The bracelet is designed as five stylized clusters, each step-down collet-set with a dark blue sapphire or with an Old Mine-cut diamond, surrounded by similarly-set Old Mine-cut, Old European brilliant-cut or rose-cut diamonds; leading to thinner single-row diamond-set sections secured with a click-shut clasp and a safety chain fitting. Tested as silver and gold, not marked. INFO • Sapphires: 1 x oval, approximately 5.16 carats (13.15 x 9.6 x 5.11 mm), dark blue; 2 x elongated cushion-cut, approximately 3.02 carats (10.6 x 8.6 x 3.72) and 3.38 carats (10.6 x 8.6 x 4.15) • Main Diamonds: 2 x Old Mine-cut; estimated 1.40 carats, L/M color (assessed), SI1 clarity (assessed); and 1.30 carats, G/H color (assessed), SI2 clarity (assessed) • Other Diamonds: Old Mine-cut, Old European brilliant-cut and rose-cut; estimated 2.70 carats in total • Dimensions: 16.5 x 1.8 cm • Weight: 21.0g NOTES This item is in good condition, showing marks and scratches consistent with its age and normal wear. Antique 19th Century Old Mine-cut diamond floral cluster cocktail ring in silver and yellow gold, Europe, circa 1880s. This antique jewel is modelled as a scalloped flower, with a wide and bold circular design with scalloped borders, this ring features a larger Old Mine-cut diamond in a step-down collet setting surrounded by two rows of 32 similarly-cut pave-set diamonds, all stones in closed-back silver; the closed-back collet attaches to a later D-shape shank in yellow gold with raised shoulders, which can be removed. This dress ring features extremely fiery stones which are ready to sparkle day and night and is sure to make an extraordinary conversation starter! Diamonds: estimated 6.40 carats in total; main diamond estimated 1.20 carats, G/H color (assessed), VS1 clarity (assessed); remaining diamonds estimated 5.20 carats in total. Antique Victorian diamond floral spray brooch in silver and yellow gold, probably Portuguese, circa 1890. A dramatic jewel from the second half of the 19th century, modelled as a floral and foliate spray composed by flowerheads and naturalistic leaves, grain-set and step-down-collet-set throughout with Old Mine-cut, Old European brilliant-cut and rose-cut diamonds, all stones in open-back silver-on-gold settings. This jewel is secured to reverse with a later-added hinged post and roller clasp fitting in yellow gold. Diamonds: estimated 5.04 carats in total, G-I color (assessed), SI clarity (assessed).
