About the Item
An artisan art-deco bracelet made in Mexico.
This is a very unusual and oversized bracelet created in Mexico during the art deco period, back in the 1940. The bracelet has been designed by an enigmatic silversmith with the artisan initials GRR which crafted in solid .925/.999 sterling silver with indigenous Mayan motifs. It is embellished with a fancy curved piece of natural Mexican green jade carved with the portrait of a Mayan cacique. The bracelet is composed by three parts attached by three-barrels hinges and a concealed push boxed lock.

Jade: Mount with 1 carved piece of Mexican green jade depicting the face of a Mayan chief.
Weight: 156.85 Grams, (100.60 Dwt).
Size: Fit a wrist up to 7 Inches, (17.78 Cm).
Measurements: The width is 65 mm (2.56 Inches).
Hallmarks: Stamped with the maker's mark, the mark for the assay and warranty of the silver and signed as follows, "HECHO EN MÉXICO 0.925 GRR".

Collateral: This bracelet is accompanied by a presentation jewelry box.
Condition: The overall condition of this Mexican bracelet is excellent. Besides the little normal wear, there is no damage to the silver. The jade is secured in their settings. This piece has been carefully inspected to guarantee the condition and authenticity.
