About the Item

A fine antique Mexican silver bracelet. In sterling silver. By Horacio de la Parra. With figural links depicting Aztec or Pre-Colombian heads having elaborate headdresses and carved green glass faces. De la Parra was a talented Mexican silversmith, who worked for both William Spratling & Hector Aguilar over the course of his career. Fully hallmarked for Horacio de la Parra to the clasp. With a later associated brass safety chain attached. Simply a wonderful bracelet from a high-level Taxco silversmith! Date: 20th Century Overall Condition: It is in overall good, as-pictured, used estate condition. There is some light edge wear, some fine and light surface scratches, and other signs of light wear consistent with age. Fineness: Marked 925 for sterling silver fineness. Marks: Marked to the box clasp for Parro / 34 / 925 / Sterling Measurements: Length: ca. 6 3/4 in. Width: ca. 23mm Depth: ca. 10mm Bracelet Size: ca. 6 1/4 in.
