A fine and impressive antique 0.25 carat diamond and 0.01 carat ruby, 12k yellow gold and silver set, 15 karat yellow gold pin brooch; part of our diverse Edwardian jewellery collections. This fine and impressive antique diamond brooch has been crafted in 15k yellow gold with a 12k yellow gold and silver setting, modelled in the form of a jockey riding a horse. The jockey is ornamented with impressive hot enamel decoration, replicating the black, red and white silks, in addition to black boots and red cap. The anterior surface of the three-dimensional horse is embellished with twenty-two pavé set diamonds, in a combination of Old European, eight and mine cuts, totalling 0.25ct. The body of the horse is further accented with yellow gold designs replicating the reins and bridal. The horse's eye is represented by a pavé set 0.01ct round faceted cut ruby. This impressive ruby pin has been crafted in 9k yellow gold with silver settings. The brooch setting has been modelled in the form of a horseshoe displaying twelve yellow gold channel set square cut rubies, totalling 0.30 carat. The horseshoe setting is further accented by a nine Old European cut diamonds, silver pavé set in three clusters of three in alternation with the rubies, totalling 0.18 carat. A large, fine and impressive antique Victorian 2.85 carat diamond, 14 karat yellow gold, silver set jabot pin style brooch; part of our antique jewelry/estate jewelry collections. This impressive antique Victorian jabot pin style brooch has been crafted in 14k yellow gold in the form of a sword and scabbard. The scroll decorated hilt is embellished with a total of forty-eight Old European round cut diamonds, graduating in size, and silver set to the pierced decorated design. Each terminal of the quillon is ornamented with an individually set Old European round cut diamond. Eighteen further Old European round cut diamonds, also graduating in size, ornament the silver set push fit scabbard.
