Antique Ruby and 0.23 Carat Diamond, 18k Yellow Gold Pig Pin Brooch Circa 1930

A stunning, fine and impressive antique 0.19 carat diamond and 0.01 carat ruby, 18 karat yellow gold and 18 karat white gold set bird brooch - boxed; part of our diverse antique jewellery and collection of bird brooches. This stunning, fine and impressive antique brooch has been crafted in 18k yellow gold with 18k white gold settings. The brooch has been realistically modelled in the form of a bird in flight. The body of the bird is embellished with ten individually white gold collet set eight-cut diamonds. The tail further incorporates two graduating white gold settings ornamented with eight pavé set eight-cut diamonds. The elevated wings are embellished with five further collet set diamonds. The eye of the bird is represented with a collet set 0.01ct cabochon cut ruby. This gold bird brooch secures to the reverse with an 18k white gold hinged pin and sheath fastening. The reverse of the setting is hallmarked with the 18k gold mark (18CT). This antique gold bird brooch is supplied with an IDGL diamond and gemstone grading report card. The brooch is fitted to the original, fine and impressive hinged leatherette presentation box with a bespoke velvet fitment and satin lined interior, securing with a push fit catch; this original bespoke box highlights the superior quality of the piece. The interior of the box bears the retailer's mark 'Jewellers by appointment, H L Brow Son Ltd, 65 Market Place, Sheffield, and at London. W.'. A stunning, fine and impressive antique 23.50 carat garnet, 0.28 carat diamond and 18 karat yellow gold brooch; part of our diverse Victorian jewelry and estate jewelry collections. This stunning, fine and impressive antique Victorian brooch has been crafted in 18k yellow gold. The brooch bears two circular-shaped settings in a vertical formation, graduating in size; the smaller articulating design to the lower portion detaches to provided a versatile aesthetic. Each finely hand-crafted setting is embellished with an array of square faceted cut garnets, secured in a circular formation with a unique claw setting design. The settings to the interior of the design are ornamented with impressive Dutch cut diamonds. Each circular-shaped gemstone setting is encircled with a classic interlacing rope twist style border, with one strand bearing a textured finish. The brooch secures to the reverse with a hinged pin and clasp. This impressive garnet brooch has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 18 karat gold.
