About the Item
Here we have an exquisite Art Deco negligee brooch crafted from 18ct white gold and showcasing a harmonious blend of natural pearls and diamonds. The main frame atop presents a boxed design which has been set with a single line for round faceted old cut diamonds whilst playing host to a cluster of tiny pearls and additional matching diamonds ornamentally arranged in a black and red enamelled bowl. Below, two strands of old mine cut diamonds cascade gracefully, culminating in two larger, natural grey lustrous pearls. The geometric design is characteristic of the 1930 period, with precise lines and a sophisticated structure. The brooch's reverse side features a secure trombone clasp fastening, ensuring both style and safety.
