Art Nouveau Jeweled Yellow Gold Stickpin Brooch by Whiteside & Blank
About the Item
Art Nouveau 14K gold stickpin brooch of intertwined scrolls surrounding a brilliant orange citrine. The intricate, flowing design is accented with three small pearls. Made by Whiteside & Blank, circa 1900. Pin is secured with a sliding metal guard. The back has the mark of Whiteside & Blank - a crescent pierced by an arrow and a "14" for the purity of the gold. Whiteside & Blank made fine brooches and other jewels during the late-1800s and early-1900s for Tiffany & Co. and Neiman Marcus.
