1979 Royal Roaring Carousel Lion Brooch Pin - 14K Yellow Gold, Emerald, Enamel
Features a Roaring Royal Gold Lion with Outstretched Paw, Enamel Saddle and an Emerald Accent.
This exquisitely detailed Lion is carefully crafted from rich 14K Yellow Gold. The gold is textured to resemble fur along the muscular body and legs and hair on the full mane and tufted tail. Each foot has 4 round toes and a footpad underneath. The Lion's head has 2 round eyes, a strong nose, open roaring mouth and a bearded chin. Two rounded ears peek out from beneath his full, flowing mane.
A Ruby Red Enamel Saddle rests on the Lion's back and the Matching Saddle Strap wraps underneath his belly. A Lime Green Enamel Saddle Pad extends from underneath the Ruby Red Saddle. The back corner of the Saddle Pad is embellished with a prong set, Deep Green Emerald.
The twisted Carousel Pole extends from behind the Lion. The ends of the pole are capped with gold ends. The ends have gold bands, a circle of round, gold beads and a flat cap. The gold bands are finished with a Ruby Red Enamel wash.
The pin is set diagonally along the back of the Lion.
This stunning Pin may be worn as a Brooch, Lapel Pin or decorative Accessory Pin.
