This 18 karat white gold contemporary brooch is an art object with its unusual form. It is encrusted with 12 carats of rose and green sapphires, Paraiba tourmalines, and spinel.
The workmanship is precise, and the piece sparkles as the perfect highlight. This ring with the same design was chosen by the German actress Anne Ratte-Polle as part of her stage outfit when she received the Bavarian Film award and for the Berlinale red carpet in the same year. It belongs to the limited edition collection.
The gems are natural and untreated, and include a cushion-cut green natural sapphire weighing 3.61 carats (10x9.3 mm), a fancy cushion spinel weighing 2.28 carats (7.7x6.5 mm), and a pear-cut green sapphire weighing 2.150 carats (10.12x6.75 mm) with a certificate. There are also 3 oval sapphires weighing 2+ carats in total and 3 oval water-pool copper-bearing Paraiba tourmalines.
