About the Item

Of neoclassical design, this beautiful Parisian 18k gold pin is decorated with translucent cobalt blue enamel over an etched herringbone ground, applied with a ribbon-tied rose diamond floral garland within a white enamel border edged in diamonds. The reverse is engraved with a quiver of arrows, symbol of love. Paris, circa 1905, stamped with the eagle head poinçon for 18k gold in use in France since 1847.  1 5/8 in. (4.1 cm) wide; 5/8 in. (1.6 cm) high
